Mark 4:31,32 'It is like a mustard seed: .... Smaller than any seed on earth, but .... grows and becomes larger than any vegetable, and puts up branches so large that the birds of the air can nest in the shade of its leaves."
God's blueprint is all there in as little as a mustard seed. Jesus, too, was a small being (poor, unknown, not influential) when he came into the world, but his plan to redeem mankind was fulfilled.
God says that our faith, too, is only as small as a mustard seed. In the seeds of faith given by God, each one of God's plans is incorporated into the fulfillment of God's plan for your life.
As we grow, God's plan will blossom. We cannot hasten or complete that growth. All we can do is absorb the nutrients God gives us and gladly receive the sunlight and water He gives us. Then God will let us grow as needed.
We do not need to compare ourselves with anyone else, but simply receive what God gives us. Let us believe in the power of God that is contained in the seed. We will even be amazed at our own growth. And we will sow that joy as boldly as we sow seeds!
Have a wonderful Sabbath! A Sabbath of shared joy!
