Luke 24:46,47 It says the following. . . . . repentance for the remission of sins shall be preached in his name to all nations.
Before his ascension, the resurrected Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever turns to me, his sins are forgiven. This news would be proclaimed throughout the world! The disciples were to be witnesses of this!
As bearers of this ministry, we also have many experiences and guidance. But Jesus does not say to us, "Now go." Jesus promises to send us what the Heavenly Father has promised. And He tells us to stay until we are covered by the power from on high.
We don't have to try hard, we just have to wait until we are covered by the power of God. God, not us, will meet our needs and move us.
If we are willing to do so while being nurtured in God's love, God's power will allow us to give the love we receive from God to those around us.
God's promises are absolute. We are to be God's witnesses, and it is up to each of us to share our experiences of what God has done for us and how He has done it. It is about what God has done not our works!
We should tell them about the greatness of Jesus, not our greatness. We will be compelled to tell about our experience with God. The chain of love is a series of miracles!
