Matthew 8:11 "I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven."
This is a story of a centurion's servant who was sick, and the centurion came to Jesus to have his servant healed. He told Jesus what happened and said, "Give me a word, and my servant will be healed. Jesus rejoiced at the centurion's faith"
God heals each one of us. God looks at the faith of each one of us. It is not only us SDAs, but all Christians and non-Christians. It does not matter if we are baptized or not. If we have as much faith in our hearts as a mustard seed, Jesus will find it. And then, He will place us at the banquet table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven.
(God sees us where we are and He has no requirement for those He accepts. He does not ask for our baptism before He will bring healing to each of us. Our baptism does not always guarantee our encounter with Jesus. Our baptism brings us to the membership of our denomination and symbolizes our personal surrender to Jesus. However, it is not God's basis for loving and accepting us. God's basis is His character and that is His faithful love for you no matter who you are.)
It is not by our efforts or deeds. Only our acceptance of Jesus as our Savior and Redeemer.
Jesus is so close that we can run to Him immediately. You do not need to worry about who you are. Jesus is really close to us!
