John 11:50 "Do you not think it more expedient for you that one man should die in place of the people, and that the whole nation should not perish?"

These were the words of the chief priest Caiaphas when he was planning to kill Jesus, but while he did not know what he was saying, he was prophesying what Jesus' mission was.

Jesus died for mankind to erase what Adam and Eve had done. Adam and Eve as representatives of the human race failed and toppled all the dominoes of God's genealogy.

Jesus, then, with his death, raised the fallen dominoes! We say, "My sins are forgiven," "I am saved," but we tend to forget that it is not "I" but the one word, "by "Jesus.

We may pray, "May I be made more pure," but we should remember that it is not "I" but "by Jesus' life.

It is NOT because of how much we know the Bible, or how much we have served, or how much we have prayed that the fallen dominoes have risen. It is simply that our dominoes were woken up BY JESUS' LIFE.

Let us rejoice in Jesus all day today! Let us rejoice and leap with all our might that we are included in God's genealogy BECAUSE OF JESUS!
