Mark 3:21 'When his relatives heard about Jesus, they came to seize him. For it had been said, 'That man is out of his mind.'"

(Mark 3:13–21 is the third story about the reactions people had to Jesus' ministry.)

I heard this story once. A large truck was driving behind a passenger car on the highway. From the truck, the driver could see a man with a pistol hiding in the back seat of the car in front of him, so the driver approached the car in front of him to let the passenger car's driver know of his situation. The truck driver tried his best to make the person in the passenger car be aware of his situation by honking his horn.

However, the driver of the passenger car drove away frantically, thinking that the large truck might rear-end him or that he was being followed by a strange person. Nevertheless, the driver of the truck went around in front of the car in front of him and stopped the passenger car. The driver of the passenger car was terrified that he was going to be killed. However, to the horror of the passenger car, the truck driver pried open the passenger car door and caught the robber!

Don't we too make the same assumptions, misunderstandings, and desperate moves like this that cause us to feel fear and make wrong choices instead?

Especially if there is no one to understand us!

Don't we also misunderstand Jesus and run away from him?

Jesus loves us, even if we misunderstood or did not understand, and He loved us through our imperfect thoughts and impulsive actions, and He loves us through life.

Jesus' love is enduring, unwavering, and persistent, regardless of the circumstances or challenges that life may present to us. Jesus' love remains constant and steadfast, providing support, care, and affection throughout the entire journey of our lives.

Because Jesus has already experienced the suffering and anxiety we are experiencing now,
He understands us thoroughly, forgives us, heals us, and helps us.

The more we get to know Jesus, the more we realize how little we know Him and how little we have tried to know Him.

Don't think that you can't get close to Jesus until you know everything about Him.

Once you know one thing, try to move one step closer.

Before we even get close, Jesus is already right there with us. And He is waiting for a hug.
