Mark 14:38 38 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
We have a battle in our hearts between our spiritual nature and our fleshly nature, don't we?
Many times in our Christian life, we get tired and our minds are occupied with our old ideas and values.
Jesus is clear that there are hardships in this world until God comes for us, but He does not tell us to face them.
Jesus only says to come to God. We don't have to be strong. We don't have to fight it ourselves. Jesus fights on our behalf. Jesus has already won the world!
All we have to do is run to Jesus and run away from a wrong understanding of God.
All we have to do is dash to God who has prepared everything for us to win the battle.
God knows all our weaknesses, and God will never abandon us!
Let's jump into the bosom of Jesus who is waiting for us with open arms today.
