Gospel Reflections #46: Eternity Starts Now

John 3:15 "For this reason everyone who believes has eternal life through the Son of Man."

God had this plan from the beginning. He wanted to bring us back and be with us. All we have to do is believe.

Once we believe in and accept Jesus, we can be with Him.

Eternity (eternal life) is about being one with God. It is not about the length of time, but about being one with the eternal God, so even now we are experiencing the taste of eternal life when we believe and accept Jesus in our close and deep relationship with Him. Jesus surely wants to include you to be with Him now and forever.

Do you desire to be one with God? You have to want it! The more we know who Jesus is, the more we want to be with Him and the more we want to be with Him.

If eternity (eternal life) is still a blur, have hope that Jesus is seeking for you. Jesus wants you more than you ever know. You may seek Him because He can now be found, He is surely seeking for you.

Jesus understands that we cannot save ourselves, and He promises that everyone who looks to Him for salvation will live in Him. And when we realize that Jesus is always with us, no matter what we are, He will embrace us. From this moment on we will be in eternity (have eternal life).
