John 7:37 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.
Jesus must have said this in a loud voice so that all could hear him in a place where many people were gathered.
He said, "Anyone" who is thirsty in his heart. Not the good, the Jewish, or the wealthy, but "anyone. Anyone who is aware of his or her weakness, lack, and ugliness can be given Jesus' water to drink.
All you have to do is know what kind of person you are and go to Jesus. Jesus knows all our weaknesses and ugliness and accepts it all.
On top of that, Jesus himself cries out to us loudly that He will give us water to drink.
What would you do if you heard this voice of Jesus?
Jesus sees the thirst in your heart. He is not looking at your deeds. Jesus knows what you are looking for and who you are looking for. And He is telling you in a loud voice! COME!
We surely feel the desire to run to Jesus at once with joy and gratitude.
Jesus is also waiting with open arms to embrace us. Jesus is the only One who can quench our deep thirst!
