Matthew 9:13 I have not come to invite the righteous, but sinners."

Are you a righteous person or a sinner? If asked this question, most people would say, "I am a sinner." Yes, we are affected by sin, and we have a desire to be better than someone else.

And in our hearts, we say, "I am a little better. I am a little better because I have worked so hard.

"Sin is being apart from God, but because of the works of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, a sinner can become a person who is aware of his or her separation from God. Without, the Holy Spirit, we will continue to be blind to who we truly are as sinners and dead in sin."

Only those who are aware that they are incapable of anything, unworthy, and incapable of being even good, will receive the "extraordinary acceptance" of Jesus.

What we need is not good deeds, but to be able to realize that we are helpless without Jesus' help.

How can we do this? Not by comparing ourselves with others, but the more we know who Jesus is, the more we see who we are.

Let's discover more about Jesus this Sabbath!
