Matthew 20:9 'So about five o'clock the hired men came and received one denarion each.

This is a story about workers who were hired an hour before the end of the workday and were paid for a day's work.

In this world, if it were not fair, there might be a riot. Of course, this verse is a parable, but God's rules(ways) are completely different from those of this world.

God does not stop inviting us until the very end.

He invites those who respond to His invitation early and those who respond at the last minute in the same way.

There is no superiority or inferiority (of who is first and last!)

And those who were invited at the last minute were those who could not be hired anywhere.

God does not assess our ability, position, honor, or effort. He just really gladly invites those who respond to His invitation.

What kind of God do you believe in? What is this invitation of God like for you?
