John 8:11 I will not condemn you, neither will I condemn you. Go. From now on, sin no more."
This is what Jesus said to the woman who committed adultery. He is not a magician who will cancel our sins.
Jesus covers our sins so that Heavenly Father does not see our sins.
Jesus did not say that, if we no longer sin, He would not condemn us!
Jesus acquitted us of our sins in Him and then told us to sin no more.
God wants us to live healthier and richer lives than we do now for His glory and our well-being, but never in reverse order.
God's commands are always preceded by the good news of acquittal.
We are first set free and then we can choose to exercise our free will to follow Jesus and Him.
I hope we always remember God's order (of redemption)! (First, the Gift of freedom, through the cross, then strength to follow Him through the Holy Spirit. )
