Luke 18:41,42 "What do you want me to do?"The blind man said, "Lord, I want to be able to see." Then Jesus said to him, “Recover your sight; your faith has made you well."
The blind man called out to Jesus, "Have mercy on me. We too may pray to God to have pity on us, but are we saying that we only look at is as pity what God does for us? Jesus responded to his call by asking, "What do you want me to do? How do we respond when Jesus asks us this?
Jesus meets our needs. It is no different today. God's miracles are not about fulfilling our wishes, but about knowing who God is. God knows everything about us, He knows all our weaknesses and deficiencies, and He fills them.
Therefore, we can ask God for what we lack. Let us turn our weakness into His strength, our fatigue into His rest, our ignorance into His wisdom, our fear into His peace, our loneliness into His presence, and our lack into His riches.
God is not one to give out. He is a God who waits for our specific needs. He is a God who always cares about us and reaches out to us. Miracles show us this!
