Gospel Reflections #16: What kind of God is your God?

Luke 15:24. For this son was dead and yet came to life; he was gone and yet was found."

These are the words of a father who greeted his prodigal son.

God also calls us sons and daughters.

We were alive in the world of sin but our souls were dead, but Jesus' cross brought us back to life.

We were buried in sin and gone, but Jesus found us.

The whole of heaven is rejoicing in our return!

Can you imagine?

No matter how pathetic we are or how much we rebel, God embraces us, saying, "You are mine!"

God never says that He "doesn't know" us!

Now, how about your God, what kind of God is your God?
