Luke 15:23 "Then bring a fattened calf and slaughter it. Let us eat and celebrate."

These are the words of the father when the prodigal son came home and the father's joy overflowed and he celebrated with a feast.

I wonder how much joy he must have felt.

When we believed and accepted the cross of Jesus, such a feast must have been set up in heaven, and Jesus must have rejoiced with all of heaven. Heaven is a place of joy for a soul that was saved!

We are lost, but Jesus found us and gave us new life in exchange for His life.

We feel sorry at first, but we actually should be more joyful with our new lives now that we were found by Jesus.

Join us in the celebration of joy!

Sabbath is a memorial of the joy of being found.

Let's burst out in joy by sharing our joy! Happy Sabbath!
