Acts 28:15 'From Rome, the brethren heard about us and...They came to meet us. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and was encouraged."

We are weak sinners. Even Paul, moved by his mission, has weaknesses. God knows our weakness so well that He not only gives us the Holy Spirit, but He also gives us friends of faith to be our community.

Friends of faith in Christ can play catch with God's love. By giving and receiving love when we need it, we experience God's love for us. How comforting it is to have friends who accept us as we are, weep with those who weep, rejoice with those who rejoice, and support and build each other up.

Besides God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, let us ask God to give us just one friend of faith to whom we can show all our hearts. We don't have to go it alone. Let us be the kind of people who can say when things are hard.

Let us also be those who can be there for our friends who are having a hard time. I believe that fellowship, sympathy, and resonance with friends in faith is where we can experience heaven on earth.

There, by sharing the joy, praise, and hope that God has for us, the spiritual church will continue to grow and expand. On this Sabbath day, let us rejoice with all our might in God's love with our friends in faith!
