Acts 17:2,3 Paul... Paul went to the place where the Jews were gathered... "The Messiah was to surely suffer and rise from the dead..."... He explained and argued.

Paul spoke boldly. God chose (to be) sin (He was made sin 2 Corinthians 5:21) and to send Jesus into our world to reclaim us from the effects of sin, He was born as a human being like us, and instead of just bringing in the rules of the Kingdom of Heaven, He accepted the cruelest way to die, according to the rules of this sin-affected earthly world.

Jesus took the place of our human sins as a human being. He then resurrected as God and brought us hope as our Savior. He accepted us and saved us, not because we are good people, not because of our good deeds, not because of how much we have repented, but because we are sinners, just as we are, unclean and affected by sin.

We simply accept the cross of Jesus, believe in it, and respond with thanksgiving and joy. This declaration was made by God immediately after Adam and Eve sinned. God is quick to respond to any situation, and He shows it to us. Knowing this, we can receive this promise with peace of mind and confidence, and wait in joy!
