Luke 15:12 The father said, "Father, give me a share of the property which I am to receive." So the father divided the property between them."

What a disrespectful son, according to the common view of this world! A father who is too good to others! But God's way of thinking is completely different. But God's common sense is completely different!

God is not surprised by our outrageous wishes.

God is a God who responds even when we ask for outrageous things. God's love, forgiveness, and mercy are unconditional and unchanging. He is a God who loves us just as much whether we turn away or not, whether we obey or not.

(What the father truly cares about is the talk with the son, it is the connection of the father with his son. What we see is how bad the attitude or behavior of the son was. What the son did was expected. God is not surprised by our outrageous wishes. Whether we ask at that time something that is too big and so bold for us to have, what God cares about is our connection with Him and that we keep Him as our Father. How God understands our fallen humanity is unimaginable. How God loves us in our fallen humanity is indescribable.)

Our God is incredibly wealthy and amazingly generous. He generously gives and shares his riches of grace (this is HIS life) with all of us. He has secured our wealth (our salvation) by giving his life to those of us who do not deserve it at all.

Therefore, let us not worry that God will be angry with us or give up on us if we say something like this, but let us boldly ask for our possessions!

Because our greatest possession is Himself! It is God's presence that is our true treasure.

He has prepared for us possessions that go far beyond what we want, beyond what we can even think of. And He is the God who looks forward to our joy in Him.

We have the best Father ever!

Don't be reserved :), speak boldly to God! He is our Father and He loves us so!
