John 6:40 "For my Father's will is that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and that I will raise him up at the last day."
God has declared and carried out the plan of salvation to bring us back. No human being affected by sin, no matter how wonderful he or she may be, is worthy to remove sin or to confront it. That is why God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth.
God sent Jesus as a human being from heaven not only to fulfill the plan of human salvation, but also so that we can know God's existence up close and personal, and so that we can actually relate to that God as a God of love.
He is the God who prepares everything to make it possible for us to believe in Him. God's will is not for us to become just holy looking Christians, but to know and accept that God is love through Jesus and through our relationship with Him, and to live together forever!
Jesus is preparing to receive us, not giving up and leaving no stone unturned until the last minute to fulfill it completely. We need only be made willing and eager for it as the Holy Spirit works in our hearts. Jesus' arrival is coming soon!
