Revelation 1:8 "The Lord God... I am the Alpha and the Omega. I am the Alpha and the Omega."

Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and omega is the last. God is said to be the beginning and the end. God is involved from the beginning to the end of the human salvation plan, and He is also responsible for it. Jesus has already paid the price and won.

We are near the end of the human salvation plan, though the end is not yet in sight, but Jesus has already won. We are like playing a baseball game, in the human salvation plan. It is easy to keep losing and think it is over, but we know that we will win in the end. There is a huge home run at the end of the game!

So don't worry if you are on a losing streak. Victory is always waiting for you. And that victory will be won by all of Jesus' team. Even if we are just substitutes warming the bench, even if we are the ones who always strike out, we will win.

We do not win because of our accomplishments, but because of the cross of Jesus! Our God is not one to fail us. Therefore, we can share in the joy of victory from now on! Let us rejoice greatly!
