How do you find mysteries? Many parts of our lives are mysterious. Reasons for many things are not revealed in an instant. For some, it takes years before answers would come.

Part of things in life that we don’t understand settle to remain in mysteries. Many things happening around us today remain to be unanswered. All we have are the unnumbered “why’s” running through our heads.

In the Bible, there is this man with a special story and a special mission. His name is Daniel. Daniel did not understand many things in his lifetime. But in those moments of not understanding comes the moment of God working behind the scenes. (Many times, God works in the middle of things we can’t understand.)

Daniel 10:2-3 described Daniel’s dilemma for His people, “At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over” (Check the story and its context) Daniel was in the state of looking for answers. Daniel prayed as hard as possible. Daniel got the answer after almost a month-long of sincere asking for answers. (Yes, God will reveal not because we asked for it but according to His wisdom, He is God and He is in control.) In this story, the very times that Daniel was in the darkness of searching for answers, Michael, which is referred to Jesus, was fighting on behalf of Daniel and His people against the greatest enemies of the soul.

Wow! What if our mysteries are the spheres where God is doing His work? After all, God says, He is in control. Isn’t it comforting that in our darkest hours, God is working something in our life?

If you are in a situation right now that you can’t understand things happening around you, what if God is just doing His work. What if God is fighting for you? What if God is just working behind the scenes.
