Matthew 2:11 "On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother; and they knelt down and worshiped him."

The wise men went to King Herod and asked where the one born as the King of the Jews was.

The prophecy stated that the Savior would be born in Bethlehem of Judea, and the wise men were guided by the star to meet Jesus.

Though born as the King of the Jews, Jesus came into the world without guards, in a lonely, obscure stable. Yet the wise men rejoiced that the prophecy had been fulfilled, regardless of circumstances, and presented gifts to Jesus.

When we choose to trust and surrender to God alone, He guards our path.

The wise men were guided by the star on their journey there, and on their return, they were guided by God's message in a dream warning them not to go back to Herod.

God speaks to us too.

In our obedience, God works faithfully for us beyond our obedience.

Mary, the mother, was able to give birth through God's guidance, and when faced with Herod's plot, God guided Mary and Joseph to Egypt.

Even when we face situations we cannot understand or accept, when we choose God, He will surely open the way to Himself.

Just as the infant was with His mother Mary, God is always with us.

To experience this God, let us take a step forward today with courage and faith.
