Matthew 26:53 "Do you think I cannot ask the Father? If I ask, the Father will send me now more than twelve legions of angels."
These are the words of Jesus to those who cut off the ears of those who came to get Him in Gethsemane, and they are preceded by the words, "Put your sword back where you found it. Everyone who takes the sword will perish by the sword," He said.
Jesus could have easily gotten out of this situation and defeated those who were trying to catch Him, but He did not.
Jesus did not come into the world to deal with or solve the situation at hand, but to fulfill the plan of His heavenly Father.
When things are bad, when all else fails, we tend to use force to win out of a sense of weakness and greed as a last resort.
In such situations, we fail to look at our goals and objectives dispassionately and are driven only by our emotions.
And we try to win by force, even though we are not very strong.
Jesus demonstrated his love for us and his obedience to God the Father, even though he could use any force in his heavenly Father's power.
And now, in fulfillment of the final plan, Jesus is our intercessor, our advocate, and our witness.
When we look up to Jesus, we know Him to be too great, and we know Him to be always by our side, faithfully and faithfully protecting and guiding us.
This is a miracle for us to see the invisible Jesus.
