Ephesians 5:1 "Be imitators of God, for you are His beloved children."

What does it mean to be loved by God?

God continues to relate to us as irreplaceable, forgiving, merciful, encouraging, accepting, guiding, and nurturing us no matter how sinful we are.

We can be who we are before God, just as we are.

The Savior of the world became sin for mankind.

Christ, who became the substitute for mankind, did not manifest His power as the Son of God, but positioned Himself as the Son of man.

God gave us a better understanding of who He is, and Christ came into the world as a human being to serve as our example and to show us how we can manifest Him at a level we can understand.

God has planned for us to grow up looking up to Jesus, just as children grow up looking up to their parents.

We must look up to Jesus first, and this will influence our actions.

We are merely imitating Jesus unless we first take the time to experience how much God loves us.

The only way to become more like Jesus is to be in His love.

God is not nurturing our behavior, but He is working to ensure that we grow in His image so that our character becomes more like His.

And for our character to mature, Jesus' love and our response of gratitude and joy are essential.

First, let us bask in the light of Jesus' love.
