Hebrews 2:3 "How can we escape punishment, moreover, if we are indifferent to so great a salvation? This salvation was first spoken by the Lord and presented to us as certain by those who heard it."
How did we hear the gospel?
How did we encounter God?
How did we come to believe in Him?
It is all planned, timed, and guided by God, not by anything we do.
In our church life, we have heard about God's salvation.
But have you ever felt that the more you hear, the more your faith suffers?
We have sometimes felt as if we have been told to work hard and reach the goal of faith, rather than being helpless to do anything about it.
We should know more of God's mercy and forgiveness.
God knows that we are not at all what He sees us as, and He loves us through and through, guiding and nurturing us.
God's plan for us is to unite us with Him in His love.
To be indifferent to God's love is to not look towards Him, and the consequence is not God's punishment, but that we will reap the fruits of our own choices.
God is constantly speaking to us, working with us and preparing the way for us to return to Him so that we do not do so.
We can return to God by simply responding to and listening God's work.
The way to God is sure.
It is only that our eyes are blind.
God has even shown us the solution, telling us to come to Him and buy eye drops that will help us to see.
When we come into contact with God's love, let us entrust it to God so that from that moment on we can escape our indifference!
