Isaiah 53:7 "Like a lamb drawn to the slaughterhouse, like a sheep that does not speak a word before its shearers, he opened not his mouth."
Jesus was faithful to Heavenly Father's plan for the salvation of mankind until the very end.
When he fulfilled this plan, Jesus fulfilled it as a human being like us.
At the time of this scriptural situation, Jesus may still have been united in his connection with God the Father.
On the cross, even though Jesus was cut off from the connection with God the Father because of the substitution of our sins, He still believed in God the Father and followed Him to the end.
Jesus practised self-denial and self-sacrifice, not to please himself, but entirely to please his heavenly Father, to give his life for us, to do good and to save suffering humanity.
Even though we know a lot of this, we are not at all capable of doing what Jesus did.
But that is why we need Jesus, why we put our hope in him and pray to him to let us be like him.
It is impossible for us to do what Jesus did, who gave himself as a sacrifice completely opposite to the values of the world, but we can respond to what he did.
We should express our gratitude and joy with our whole body, with our whole heart and with our whole life.
That is the true form of those who have been saved by Jesus, isn't it?
