1 Corinthians 2:9 God has prepared for those who love him what the eye has not seen, the ear has not heard, and what has not entered the mind of man.

We tend to think of every problem in our situation as a solution, a way to get out of it.

More often than not, it may not work.

Our wisdom and thinking are limited. They are shortsighted and self-centered.

God has prepared something for us that never even crossed our minds.

It is the cross of Jesus.

Jesus, who became man, was the God who rules in heaven.

He gave up His heavenly authority, came to earth as a man, and gave His life for us.

This was not because we asked for it or because we were qualified.

God planned His covenant with us in order to win us back, and He offers us the covenant after He has fulfilled all the terms of the covenant first.

We only have the choice to make a covenant with God or not.

If we make a covenant, God raises us as His children.

If we do not accept the covenant, we are separated from God, and by separating from God, we are entering into Satan's domain.

God does not disregard our free will.

He is working day and night to make us worthy of choosing Him.

When we realize this, we realize where we stand.
