Romans 7:18 “I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, no goodness dwells."

We have no righteousness in us by nature, but through good deeds, service, prayer, offering, worship, etc., we delude ourselves into thinking that we have a little righteousness or goodness in us.

But as we grow closer to God and our faith deepens, we realize that there is nothing good in us.

It is only when we truly realize that no goodness lives within us that we begin to seek not God's grace or miracles, but God himself.

We do not ask God to make our situation better or to make our suffering go away, but to give us a sense of security, peace, and hope that God is with us.

God wants us to seek Him earnestly.
We can't start out that way.

God knows everything about us, so He is always working to make us want to seek Him.

As we receive His work, He transforms us.

Our God is our Maker, our Guide, and our Finisher!
