Luke19:9 Jesus said. "Today salvation has visited this house. For this man is also the son of Abraham."
Zacchaeus wanted to see Jesus for himself, so he climbed a tree and waited, when Jesus approached Zacchaeus and said he would stay at Zacchaeus' house.
Zacchaeus was overwhelmed by the love and humility of Jesus, who looked at a worthless person like him, and even his heart was changed.
Jesus catches our unspoken and unconscious thoughts and works on us.
He does not judge or criticise us, but offers to spend time with us and fellowship with us.
We are offered this invitation and suggestion by God every day.
God knows when we need to meet and commune with Him, and He is working on us.
He does not miss even our smallest sorrows, sufferings, worries and perplexities.
God's invitations are not because we need them tomorrow, but because we need them now.
God continues to work until we realise it, and when we do realise it, we should not hesitate to accept God's invitation with openness and joy.
