Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Rather, renew your minds and transform yourselves, so that you may know what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing to God and what is perfect."
By God's mercy, the spiritual worship we are to do is not an attempt to isolate ourselves from the world and become pure, nor is it a justification of our own moral values, but a willing offering of us to God as a holy offering.
It is not something we can do in our own strength, but the actual work of the Holy Spirit on our human nature.
It is pleasing to God that we are not self-centered, but that we yield our seat at the center of our being to Jesus and entrust ourselves to Him daily, so that we may be made whole in Him.
Often in our daily lives, we are so focused on human relationships and problems that we fail to consider what is God's will and what is good for God.
But God renews and changes our minds once we turn our attention to Him.
We make many mistakes, but God makes them grow into rich, ripe fruit for us.
