Gospel Reflections #590: God never looks at us with our past.

Lamentations 3:22,23 “The Lord's mercy never ceases. His mercy never ceases. It is renewed every morning. Your truth is so deep."

Are we sure that His mercy never ceases?

Are we fully convinced that His mercy never ceases?

We often judge ourselves and turn away from God because of our past deeds and thoughts. But God makes us start from scratch every morning.

He does not start from the negatives of our past, but from the new birth we have today.

He knows all our weaknesses and blemishes, yet He makes us walk as new creatures.

This is His mercy, compassion, and truth.

These gifts of God want us to be filled with His love and to share it with others.

God's mercy and compassion make us His disciples, His hands and feet.

This creates a chemical reaction of God's love everywhere in the world!

When we receive God's daily baton of mercy and compassion, we should make sure to pass it on to someone else.
