Acts 16:9 "That night Paul had a vision. In it a Macedonian stood and begged Paul, saying, 'Come over to the province of Macedonia and help us.'"
Once we have been fully immersed in God's love, He places us in the next stage.
It is service.
It takes us from looking to ourselves to looking outside of us.
We are led to be sensitive to the needs of those around us.
And God causes us to want to respond to them.
This is not an easy task for most of us, and it is something that we repeatedly struggle with ourselves to respond to, and it is at this time that we keenly feel the need for God's strength.
The service to which God calls us is a service of self-sacrifice.
It is also a battle against ego and a race for endurance.
It is in this that we are kneaded by God. And by watching us fall and get up, those around us see God behind us.
Service is not about the result or the satisfaction of the other person, but about the presence of God who works in it.
Service may be a one-to-one sanctification experience where God can knead us.
