Gospel Reflections #582: God's work in us!

Luke 12:12 “What is to be said, the Holy Spirit will tell us in His own time."

We know that there may be people who will never hear the Gospel unless they hear our message to God.

That being said, we would be doing ourselves a disservice if we blindly seized someone and told them God's message.

As we build our relationship with God, He will bring us to maturity and provide those who feel the need to hear the message from us.

This is not because we have matured enough to be in God's will, but because we are daily storing up the precious truths of God's Word and strengthening our faith through prayer, so that the Holy Spirit can remind us of the message we need to give in response to God's call, and then we can give it to those who need it. God is guiding us to do this.

We can do nothing, but we can choose to let the Holy Spirit work in us and entrust it to God.

God will do the work, not us.

We are proud of God and His work in us, not ours.

All we can do is choose God by crying out, "God help me!
