Gospel Reflections #580: The Beautiful Ending is Already Sure

Revelation 6:2 "And behold, a white horse appeared, and the one riding had a bow. He was given a crown, and he went out to gain more victory upon victory."

Finally, Jesus is going out to settle the score once and for all.

Until now, with God's permission, Satan has been hurting, deceiving, cheating, and showering mankind with fear and anxiety, but it will soon be settled.

Satan's end was confirmed by the cross of Jesus, but God bided His time until the inhabitants of the universe could understand and accept how much evil sin produces and how those redeemed by Jesus would walk.

In the meantime, He is making daily intercession for our afflictions.

Then, when the time is right, Jesus will go forth to triumph over us.

All we have to do is respond to Jesus' intercession and trust Him to the end so that we can stand firm in hope.

Since we cannot even do that, we want to ask Jesus for help and hang on to Him.

God allows us to manifest peace and joy when we hang on to Jesus.

We want to be connected to Jesus so that we can be a light to Him when He goes out to win the final victory!
