Isaiah 53:2 “There is no face to be seen, no glorious appearance, no desirable figure."

This is the appearance of Jesus.

The world is so focused on improving itself that when we see Jesus like this, we too will doubt whether this is our Savior.

But Jesus was wounded for our sins and crushed for our iniquities.

He took the punishment for us, giving us peace, and by His stripes we are healed. Because of this, we see the light in Jesus, who had no face to see and no good looks, and we see God in his humility.

We can see God as the eyes of the world can never see Him.

We should not only say, "Jesus, I am sorry," but rather, "Jesus, thank you." Let us fill the path of humility and patience with gratitude and joy.
