Isaiah 60:1 "Arise, shine forth your light. The light that shines upon thee shall rise, and the glory of the Lord shall shine upon thee."
Like the story of the 10 virgins, we are weak in faith and can fall into a sleep of faith or be in a situation where we are unaware when we run out of oil.
But there will be someone who will wake us up.
It may be a friend of faith, or it may be the work of the Holy Spirit.
We may have faith, but the light of faith may be weak and fading.
But God is a God who always keeps His promise to come for us.
Those who are the first to realize that the time has come will sound a joyful cry to wake those who are asleep.
At that time, we will all awaken and wait for the Bridegroom, shining the light we have received from the Holy Spirit.
Even though we do not yet see Jesus, His light will reach us where we are waiting, and we will see Him clearly as He comes to meet us.
We will not welcome Jesus' second coming alone.
We are God's family, preparing to receive Jesus together by supporting, helping, complementing, and encouraging each other.
Even if our faith is weak, even if we fall asleep, there is someone to wake us up.
Instead of lamenting our weakness, we should give thanks and praise to God who does not leave us alone, receive hope from God, and shine His light with all our might.
