John 3:16 “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
God created us and promised to love us with an abiding love to the end.
He loved us enough to give us the life of His only begotten Son.
God did not give us His only begotten Son when we believed in Him, but He took the initiative to offer us His only begotten Son.
Of all the people God created in the universe, we humans on earth are the only ones who have experienced such a thing.
Satan has been trying to separate man from God forever since he lost the battle in heaven.
Of course, we have been defeated and crushed many times by Satan's schemes.
But when we are in Christ, we are more closely connected to God than if we had not fallen.
The great cosmic struggle between Christ and Satan seems to be, in the end, about who we believe and what we believe, with belief being the substantive point of contention.
God works in us from beginning to end so that we can believe in Him without hesitation.
God's love is poured out all around us in more ways than we can imagine.
And we are kept alive by God's love without even knowing it.
