John 13:8 "When Peter said, 'You will never wash my feet, etc.,' Jesus replied, 'If I do not wash you, you will have nothing to do with me.'"

We know that Jesus is God Almighty and worthy of our entrustment, yet we often avoid fellowship with Him because we look at ourselves and feel that we are not worthy of Him.

Jesus knows our uncleanness and comes near to cleanse it.

But we can't let go of our pride and try to come to Him when we are a little more respectable.

Our hesitation keeps Him away.

We should come to Jesus just as we are, soiled and clean. No, rather, we must go to Him as we are or we will not know that He is indispensable to us.

Jesus is not looking for our good looks, but our "relationship" with Him.

Our happiness is not given to us by how many things we have or can do in this life, but by our "relationship with God as one.
