Exodus 34:33 “When Moses had finished speaking it, he covered his face."

Moses admonished Aaron and the heads of the congregation to tell them every word that the Lord had spoken to Moses on Mount Sinai.

Moses' face reflected the glory of God's presence as he communed with God for 40 days and 40 nights.

Moses did not realize it himself, but when he came down from the mountain, his face was radiant. So, neither Aaron nor the people could approach Moses for fear of him.

I believe that the more we fellowship with God, the more we are allowed to reflect His light.

We are not showing or boasting of ourselves, but we are showing God's glory by reflecting Him.

We are tempted to show our superiority, but God does not want us to show off our biblical knowledge or Christian experience, but to reflect His light by lowering ourselves, putting others first, and meeting their needs, just as Jesus did.

This is not something we can do by ourselves.

God will do it for us by continuing to believe and seek to be in fellowship with Him and to be one with Him.

We ourselves do not know if we are reflecting God's light, but those around us do.

Rather than worrying about whether or not we are reflecting the light, let us pray to God so that we can trust Him and surrender to Him.

God hears the cries of our hearts.

God hears the cry of our hearts, and it is not our achievements or our efforts that will finish us, but God alone.
