John 11:25 Jesus said, 'I am the resurrection and the life. I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live."
We are spiritually dead in this world, but through Jesus we are given new life and made alive.
Without Jesus, we would not be born again.
The promise, "He who believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live. For Lazarus, this is a promise of bodily resurrection.
For us, our physical resurrection and glorification will be at the Second Coming, but our spiritual resurrection will be when we believe in Jesus, and we will receive new spiritual life while in this world.
In this world under the influence of sin, our spirituality is dead, and Jesus came to us to breathe new life into it.
New life is not automatically given to us, but is given to us when we believe in and accept Jesus.
We are then allowed to grow in the new spiritual life given to us by Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
Our bodies will be resurrected and glorified at the Second Coming, but our character will mature with the Holy Spirit in this world.
God's plan is often incomprehensible to us humans, but the Bible promises that those who sincerely seek Him will find Him, and that He will give us power, peace, salvation, resolution, victory, and joy in abundance.
True life begins when we surrender everything to God!
Because Jesus is our perfecter!
