Acts 17:28 “We live, move, and exist in God."
God is constantly at work in the natural world.
It is not due to some original force inherent in nature that the earth produces sparingly year after year and the world marches around the sun continually. The hand of infinite power is constantly at work guiding the planet. It is God's power working moment by moment that keeps the earth in position as it rotates.
God is also constantly at work in our bodies.
Every breath, every heartbeat is a constant evidence of God's power that is always there.
And the same is true of the spiritual work in our hearts.
We are kept alive in God's love, forgiveness, and mercy.
The more we know about God's work, the more we want to respond to Him.
And the more we play catch with God, the more He grows us.
This is the path of God's perfection of us, imperfect as we are, in His perfect love.
This growth is not completed by God's work alone, but by our response of trust and gratitude to Him.
We are completed not only by living, moving, and being in God, but also by witnessing our presence in God by sharing the joy and gratitude we experience in that presence.
