Gospel Reflections #548: The most important blessings

Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burdens on the Lord, and He will sustain you. He upholds those who follow him, and he will see to it that they are not shaken for ever."

You may be facing a challenge right now. It may be a relationship breakdown, a serious health issue, or financial difficulty.

Whatever the problem, remember that God's grace is always there to sustain us.

God will not magically transform the difficult situation, but He will remove our fears and anxieties and surround us with His divine light, filling us with the light of His presence. This helps us to regain our composure and to use the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit to guide us.

God promises to sustain us.

A follower of the Lord is one who believes God's promise and expresses his faith in his attitude and actions.

Not everything happens as we would like, but there are two very important blessings that God always gives to His faithful children.

They are grace and hope.

It is a miraculous blessing that God is with us.

When we surrender our burdens to the Lord, He allows us to rest in His blessings!
