John 15:20 “Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.”
What the master is subjected to, the servant is subjected to as well. So he is saying that if anyone tries to persecute Jesus, his servants, the disciples, one will also would persecute us.
Many popular preachers suggest that those who accept Christ will be protected from all problems, but this is not true.
God does not protect us from all kinds of situations or change our circumstances, but gives us peace that we will always be with Him.
Many martyrs' end may seem tragic to those around them, but it affects those around them because they end their lives in peace and in God's protection. However, this is not the influence of the martyr himself, but God's work.
The fact that Jesus speaks this way shows us that He is responsible for everything, and it also shows us that Jesus, the Master, will never treat us, His servants, like objects, abandon us, or give up on us.
Therefore, we can entrust everything to Jesus.
