Gospel Reflections #546: Protection from being separated from God's love

Psalm 91:11 “The Lord will command His angel to guard you in all your ways."

God cares about all our affairs and pours out His heart.

He does not abandon us in our unbelief or disobedience.

Even when we reap the consequences of our choices away from God, He does not change the outcome, but He protects us wherever we go.

By protection, we do not mean protection from calamity or difficulty, but protection so that we can return to Him.

When our eyes are opened by the Holy Spirit, we will realize that we have been separated from God. He reminds us of how peaceful we will be when we return to Him.

Now it is up to us to choose to go to God or not.

If we choose God, it is not in our own strength but in God's work that will make it happen!
