Philippians 4:4,5 "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say to you, "Rejoice! Rejoice! Let your open hearts be known to all. The Lord is near."
Rejoice always" does not mean that we should rejoice in sad or difficult circumstances, but rather that we should rejoice if we believe that God is with us in all circumstances.
We may feel that we can do miracles like God when we have faith, or that we can live in the midst of miracles, but what God shows us is that He is with us, and it is our role to show how peaceful and joyful it is for us to have God with us in our daily lives.
It is our role to express in our daily lives how peaceful and joyful God's presence with us is, and it is our response to God's unconditional love that He pours out on us.
It is our evangelism and our testimony to God that "our open hearts may be made known to all people.
We all influence someone in some way.
It is through us or by using us that God influences us.
We should always rejoice in such a God, share that joy, and extend it to all people.
