James 3:10 'Out of the same mouth come praises and curses. My brethren, do not let this happen."
With this tongue we praise the Lord our Father and with the same tongue we curse man, who is made in God's image; sin's effects weaken us.
James says, "There is no one who can control the tongue.
Even though we know God, we sometimes use the earthly, fleshly, and demonic wisdom that we have depended on, instead of the wisdom that has come down from above.
Rather than wanting us to do wrong, God wants us to return to Him when we realize it.
He wants us to seek wisdom from above.
Wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceful, forgiving, and meek, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without falsehood.
There is nothing good in us, but God is able to give us what we ask for and more.
No matter how many times our tongue fails us, if we run to God, He will heal us and give us wisdom and strength!
