Acts 17:11 "Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true."
The Bible describes who Jesus is.
As we read the Bible, we are searching all over for Jesus. We cannot discover Jesus or be convinced of God's will just by skimming. We must read the book over and over again, praying, "God, I don't understand, please tell me.
The joy and surprise of discovering Jesus can never be replaced by anything else in the world.
The people of Berea must have discovered Jesus while studying the Word in this way, and as they shared their joy, the number of people who believed in Him increased.
Let us also dig out treasures from the Bible and share our joy with others so that we can develop a deeper relationship with Jesus.
