Revelation 21:2 "Moreover I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, ready as a bride dressed for her husband, and leaving God."
In his vision, John saw the new heaven and the new earth, and he also saw the new city coming down from heaven.
We will be lifted up to heaven with Jesus, and then we will come down to the new earth with the new city.
Not only will Jesus come for us, but we are prepared to live with God in the new earth.
We are looking forward to it, but the Bible tells us that we can experience the Kingdom of God even here on earth today.
We can have the Kingdom of God in our hearts.
We can have the Kingdom of God in our hearts by dying to our old self, relying on God's promises, receiving new life through Jesus, and having it nurtured by the Holy Spirit, instead of relying on our own strength.
If we seek God, if we seek Jesus, if we seek the Holy Spirit, God is a God who gives generously to us and completes us.
Let's be more generous to God!
