John 16:12,13 “I have many more things to say, but you do not understand them now. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you and make you understand all the truth. For he will not speak of himself, but will speak what he hears, and will tell you what is to come."

Before his crucifixion, Jesus spent the Last Supper with his disciples, where he told them many things.

He told them about the farewell, the Second Coming, the parable of the vine, the exhortation about persecution, and the promise of the Helper.

He knew how confused and disappointed the disciples would be by what was about to happen.

He knew that even if the disciples did not understand everything He was saying, He would lead them to understand in time. I also believe that this is Jesus' love for his disciples.

We sometimes feel that if we have a lot of information and knowledge, we can cope with various situations.

Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us awareness, push, and brake according to our needs.

What we can do is not to stuff ourselves with information and knowledge, but to receive from God the power to discern the voice of the Holy Spirit and follow it.

It is the Holy Spirit who makes us feel our needs, but it is we who ask God for those needs.

He guides us, but the final choice is ours.

To help us make the right choice, Jesus tells us in advance what is going to happen.

He does this so that we can exercise our faith under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

If we know who our God is, we will not be anxious about what Jesus tells us, but we will feel His promises.

Because God is a God who will not give up on coming for us until the end, but will fulfill it.
