Ecclesiastes 9:10 “Whatever you put your hand to, do it diligently."
We Christians entrust and depend on God, but that does not mean that we ourselves have to do nothing.
We are weak beings who try to find excuses to give up when things go wrong or when there are unexpected difficulties, even under God's guidance or when we have made our own decisions.
But God engages us in the process rather than the result. When we hit a wall, we ask God for wisdom and strength to carry through.
God is with us as we begin, offering us a relationship with Him every step of the way.
We receive it and are given the experience of walking with God.
What is important to God is not the "results" of what we do, but our "relationship" with Him.
God does not waste a single moment in which we can mature as His children, but He works with us.
It is not important that we succeed or fail, but that we grow and mature as God's children in our relationship with Him.
