Revelation 13:2 'And the dragon gave to this beast his power, and his throne, and great authority.

This was shown to John by the symbolism of the nations of the earth who trampled on God's law and were especially engaged in the persecution of God's people: a great dragon, a beast like a leopard, and a horned beast like a lamb.

The battle will continue until the end of time.

The people of God, symbolized by the holy woman and her children, are described as a very small minority.

The rest of the people of the last days, the Bible tells us, will be "those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

This is not something we can do by our deeds or efforts, but those who have trusted and surrendered to the power of our God.

We are not to look to those who persecute us, but to God who is always with us, who will not give up on us to the end, who will resurrect us and come for us. Even if this is not the case, we should keep our hearts focused on the fact that we have received the greatest blessing of our lives by believing in God our Savior, and we should continue to choose God with complete faith.

If we so desire, God is a God who will surely respond to our desire.

Blessed are those who believe!
